Welcome

SpartanTalent is an automated suite of talent management tools designed to help supervisors and departments throughout the life cycle of the talent management process from recruiting and hiring, onboarding and managing, to developing and retaining staff at UNCG. UNCG currently offers two tools in the SpartanTalent suite – eHire (applicant tracking) and ePosition (position management).

SpartanTalent provides benefits such as:

  • Streamlined approval workflows
  • Eliminates HRCB200 and EHRA Non-faculty position description on paper (moving to a paperless process)
  • Allows posting information to flow directly from ePosition to eHire
  • Reduces the amount of paper and time waiting for approvals
  • Simplifies business processes
  • Is easily accessible
  • Track position’s status and review approval history online

e-hire

The eHire module on SpartanTalent is the on-line employment system used to recruit the most talented faculty and staff to UNCG.

Whether you are a prospective employee seeking a career opportunity or a department managing a search, use eHire to meet your needs.

If you have any questions, please contact Human Resources at 336-334-5009.

When Should e-hire be used?

SHRA

You are recruiting for any SHRA position (Permanent of Temporary).

EHRA

You are recruiting for any EHRA Faculty or Non-Faculty position that requires a formal search (position will be occupied for 6 months or more – per AA Search Guidelines).

Note:

Even though you are not required to use eHire for positions not requiring a formal search, you may choose to do so to take advantage of the features provided in eHire, for instance, EHRA temporary and EHRA part-time postings.
