All permanent SHRA and EHRA Non-Faculty employees that have been in their roles for at least six (6) months MUST have an annual Performance Appraisal completed in ePerformance.

Changes to the eperformance cycle this year
SHRA Employees
Probationary and Off-Cycle Reviews are no longer active in ePerformance. To complete a Probationary review during the year, use Progress Notes to document and complete.
Mid-Year Check-Ins are mandatory:
(a) for all employees who received any rating of “Not Meeting Expectations” on their last annual performance appraisal;
(b) for all employees who have active disciplinary actions;
(c) for other employees, when the manager/supervisor finds it appropriate or necessary to perform an interim review; or
(d) if the Chancellor (or President, for UNC General Administration) decides to require interim reviews campus-wide.
If an employee does not meet any of this criteria, a Mid-Year Check-In is OPTIONAL.
