The Banner HR module facilitates the processes within the UNCG Finance & Administration and Academic Affairs divisions. It was implemented in July, 2008, and supports critical campus functions such as monthly time entry, payroll, leave and benefits, and personnel changes. It serves all populations of employees on campus – faculty and non-faculty staff, graduate assistants and student workers.
Access to data in Banner is based on job duties. Therefore, users may require access to multiple Banner modules. HR access forms are located in the PDF Forms section of the page linked below.
UNCG is launching Banner Web Time Entry, a web-based system designed to streamline and improve our current time and leave entry process!
Banner Web Time Entry allows campus employees to enter time and leave electronically through the UNCGenie Employee Self-Service Portal. This system replaces the current spreadsheet-based timesheets, monthly leave report, and other electronic timekeeping systems currently in use at UNCG with the exception of Kronos, NCRLAP.org, and ServiceNow. This new system provides a streamlined, web-based approach for efficient time and leave entry.
